A National Level Technical Event “ TechnoFest-2K26 “l

Nagpur, March 18, 2026:
A two-day national-level technical event, “TECHNOFEST-2K26” organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering (NBA Accredited) at Tulsiramji Gaikwad Patil College of Engineering & Technology (TGPCET), Nagpur, in association with the Institution of Engineers (India) (IE(I)), concluded on Tuesday with a grand valedictory function. The event was held on March 17 and 18 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the country.
More than 400 participants from reputed institutions such as PCCOE Pune, YCCE Nagpur, Raisoni Group of Institutions, PCE Nagpur, KDK College, KITS Ramtek, NIT, Government Polytechnic, Government Engineering Colleges, JIT, BD College Wardha, Wainganga College, among others, took part in the event.
The National Level Technical Event provided a platform for budding engineers to showcase their technical skills and creativity through various competitions, including SPARKSTRUCT (Project Competition), CURRENTSPEAK (PPT Presentation), ELECTRODISPLAY (Poster Competition), and INNOVOLT (Business Ideas). Participants displayed innovative projects, insightful presentations, and creative concepts, highlighting their technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
The inaugural function was graced by distinguished Chief Guests, Mr. Atul Jain, General Manager, Indo Rama Synthetics India Ltd., Dr. P. L. Naktode, Principal, TGPCET; Dr. Ganesh Wakte, Vice Principal; and Prof. Praful Ghadge (Head of the Department). Their addresses set the tone for the event and encouraged participants to excel in the competitions.
Winners of the various competitions were felicitated with prizes, while all participants were awarded certificates for their active involvement. The successful organization of the event was made possible through the support and guidance of the institution’s leadership, including Dr. Mohan Gaikwad-Patil, Chairman, GPG; Mr. Akash Gaikwad-Patil, Vice-Chairman, GPG; Dr. Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer, GPGI; Dr. P. L. Naktode, Principal, TGPCET; Dr. Pragati Patil, Director (Administration); Prof. Ritesh Banpurkar, Director Academics; and Dr. Ganesh Wakte, Vice Principal.
TECHNOFEST-2K26 stands as a testament to the spirit of learning, collaboration, and technological advancement among aspiring engineers.
