One Week Faculty Orientation Program on Effective Teaching Methodologies and Role of Faculty Member in the Development of the Institute
Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology had organized One Week Faculty Orientation Program from 22/07/2024 to 26/07/2024 on Effective Teaching Methodologies and Rile of Faculty Members in the Development of the Institute. The inauguration was done by the Dr. SandeepGaikwad, Treasure, GPGI, the Lamp lighting was done bYy the Dignitaries, the Opening remark was given by Dr. Pragati Patil, Vice-Principal, Dr. Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer, GPGI had addressed the session. On the first day, first Session was conducted by Dr. Amey Khedikar, Registrar. He had delivered the lecture on the Topic -Know your workplace: Introducing sanstha/institute, Goals of the institute, vision and mission of the institute, authorities of the institute, roles and responsibilities of the faculty member. On the second day, second session, Prof. Anup Gade, Dean Academics had presented the lecture on the Topic- A Pathway to Success:- Effective Teaching Methodologies, modern methods in Teaching and Rubrics for transparent Assessment. Unleashing the Course file: Deep drive in the contents of course file. Open Book Test: Effective Conduction and Library Engagements. On the third day, third session was Presented by Dr. Radharaman Shaha, COE, on the Topic- Blooms taxonomy and design of learning Outcomes: Preparing Course Outcomes (CO), Programme Specific Outcomes (PSP) and Mapping of CO-PO-PSO with level, ap analysis. Case study preparation: to teach up to higher order thinking. On the fourth day, fourth session, Dr. Amey Khedikar, Registrar, had delivered the lecture on Handshake with Technology, preparing digital contents of the lectures, Effective utilization of AI in Modern Learning – Teaching, SOPs to be followed. On the fifth day, Prof. Ritesh Banpurkar, Dean IQAC had presented the Session on the topic – PO Attainment : Direct, Indirect, defining attainment level, revising level of attainment. IQAC for all: Innovations in Teaching- Learning for Quality Enhancment and Audits. All the sessions were interesting and knowledgeable. The program was anchored and vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Amisha Malviya. The program was conducted successfully.
