Farewell Party Bids a Warm Goodbye to MCA Final Year Students of TGPCET, Nagpur
Nagpur | The Department of Master in Computer Application (MCA) at Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering & Technology (TGPCET), Nagpur, recently hosted a grand and emotional farewell party to bid adieu to the outgoing MCA final year students of the 2025 batch. The event marked a significant milestone in the students’ academic journey, celebrating both achievements and memories, and was held at the elegantly decorated BRILLO Club and Kitchen, Nagpur.
The farewell function commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. Roshan A. Chandekar, Head of the MCA Department. Notable dignitaries including Dr. Pratik Ghutke, Dean PG, and Dr. Amey Khedikar, Registrar, TGPCET, addressed the gathering with inspiring messages for the graduating students. Around 90 final year MCA students enthusiastically participated in the event.
The evening was lit up with vibrant cultural performances including dances and songs that captured the essence of campus life and student experiences. The highlight of the evening was the felicitation of academic toppers of the 2025 MCA batch. Dr. Pratik Ghutke, Prof. Vivek Patil (Dean, Admission Cell), and Dr. Amey Khedikar presented awards to the meritorious students, acknowledging their academic excellence.
The program was anchored with great energy and enthusiasm by second-year MCA students Ms. Apeksha Gadpayle and Ms. Apoorva Moon, who kept the audience engaged throughout the event. The farewell concluded with a memorable group photo session and a dinner gathering that allowed students, faculty, and staff to interact informally and share nostalgic moments.
The occasion was not just a send-off but a celebration of growth, friendship, and the vibrant spirit of TGPCET.
