WORKSHOP ON ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND BMW ENGINE HELD AT GPG
Nagpur : The Department of Mechanical Engineering (NBA Accredited) at GPG recently organized a two-day workshop on “Hands-on Training on Electric Vehicle and BMW Engine” in collaboration with Mahindra and Mahindra, Nagpur.

The workshop aimed to provide students with hands-on experience and knowledge about electric vehicle technology, troubleshooting, and BMW engine terminology, aligning with the department’s focus on practical learning and industry collaboration.
The inaugural session was presided over by Mr. Jogeshwar Day, Manager, Mahindra and Mahindra, Nagpur, and Mr. Bishnu Datt Darnal, Senior Trainer, Mahindra and Mahindra, Nagpur. Prof. Dipali Bhoyar, Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, also graced the occasion.
The workshop covered various aspects of electric vehicles and BMW engines, including components, working systems, and benefits. Hands-on training sessions allowed participants to assemble and disassemble EV motors and work on BMW engines.
Students and faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering department attended the workshop, which was coordinated by Prof. Anuj Muley and Prof. Ravindra Shende.

GPG management, including Chairman Hon. Dr. Mohan Gaikwad-Patil, Vice-Chairman Hon. Akash Gaikwad-Patil, Treasurer GPGI Hon. Dr. Sandeep Gaikwad, Principal Hon. Dr. P. L. Naktode, and Vice-Principal Hon. Dr. Pragati Patil, extended their support to the event.
