Department of Mechanical Engineering Hosts Successful Inaugural Function for One-Week Faculty Development Program on Recent Advancement in 3D Printing Applications
Nagpur, June 20, 2024 – The Department of Mechanical Engineering (NBA-accredited) of Tulsiramji Gaikwad Patil College of Engineering and Technolgy, Nagpur (An Autonomous Institute ) in collaboration with ISTE and knowledge partner IIC, successfully inaugurated a one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on June 11th, 2024. The program, titled “Recent Advancement in 3D Printing Applications, “is scheduled from June 11th to 15th, 2024, focusing on various 3D Printing techniques.
The inaugural function of the ISTE Self Sponsored & Knowledge Partner IIC One Week Faculty Development Program was held on June 11th, 2024, at 11:45 am. The event was graced by several dignitaries Chief Guest Hon’ble Prof.Pavan Kankar, Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering ,IIT,Indore.
The sessions in this FDP were diversified across Mechanical Engineering in Machine Learning application in Additive Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing: Circular economy perspective, Unlocking the future: Additive manufacturing and Industry 4.0 in Healthcare Researches, Microwave Energy Applications for Additive Manufacturing, “Research Type and Steps in Research”, “Different Process parameters and its influence”, “Meditation for peaceful life”, “Case studies in 3D Printing’, 3D Printing Technology and its application in Industry 4.0”from their respective fields enlightened the faculties.
Dr. Mohan Gaikwad-Patil, Chairman, GPG, Mr. Akash Gaikwad-Patil, Vice Chairman, Dr. Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer, GPGI, Dr. P.L. Naktode, Principal GPGI, Dr. Pragati Patil, Vice-Principal, congratulated all the participants for their active participation in the FDP. The program was efficiently coordinated by Prof.Dipali Bhoyar, along with the entire faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of the program, maximizing the benefits for all participants.
