Guest Lecture on 3D Printing and Innovative Product Development
The Departments of Biotechnology and Mechanical Engineering at Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology (TGPCET), Nagpur, jointly organized a guest lecture on “3D Printing and Innovative Development” on 11th January 2025. The event aimed to familiarize students with the transformative potential of 3D printing in engineering, manufacturing, and medical innovation.

The session commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting, graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. A. M. Kuthe, Professor and In-Charge of BETIC, VNIT, Nagpur, along with Dr. Rohit Kalnake, Head of Biotechnology Engineering, and Prof. Dipali Bhoyar, Head of Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Kuthe delivered a highly engaging lecture, sharing his expertise on the importance of product design and the applications of 3D printing in various fields. He provided valuable insights into its role in rapid prototyping, manufacturing processes, and innovative medical applications, inspiring students with practical case studies and strategies for entrepreneurial success.
The event offered students a unique opportunity to develop interdisciplinary skills, creative thinking, and an understanding of emerging research areas.

The program was organized under the support of TGPCET’s management and coordinated successfully by Prof. Sohan Deshpande, Prof. Sakshi Zade, and Prof. Pramar Bakane. The session left students motivated to explore and innovate in the field of 3D printing and product development.
