Two days Hands-on workshop on “Composite and Nano Fibre Materials used for Aircraft Manufacturing” conducted at Department of Aeronautical Engineering, TGPCET, Nagpur

Department of Aeronautical Engineering of Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur successfully organized Two days Hands-on workshop on “Composite and Nano Fibre Materials used for Aircraft Manufacturing” in collaboration with Aerovania Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur. The first day of the workshop morning session is addressed by the expert from the Aerovania Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Satish Chinchore emphasized the significance of advanced composite materials in aerospace engineering, in which he focused on strong theoretical foundation of various composites. Second session after the lunch was addressed by Mr. Nivrutti Nath from the Aerovania Pvt. Ltd. He emphasized the significance of Nano fibre technology in aircraft technology and also focused on fabrication of nano fibres and its application were discussed in-depth. The second day of the workshop was dedicated to hands-on sessions and demonstrations organised at the Aerovania pvt ltd. Hingna, Nagpur, Premises. The industry experts Mr. Rohit Lanjawar and Mr. Naned Shahid explained about the manufacturing of composite structures and helped the students in exploring the fabrication process. Further demonstration of drone models was show cased to understand the real time application of composite materials.

This Workshop is conducted successfully under the guidance of Prof.Vishwjeet Ambade (HoD,AE). The workshop is Coordinated by Prof. Jonna Naresh, Prof. Himani Harpal, Prof.Mayuri Wandhare , Prof. Shruti Giri (Faculty Coordinators), Mr. Tapassu Meshram and Ms.Dnyaneshwari Wanjal (Students Coordinators) . The Industry Visit is coordinated by Prof. Shrikant Kathwate. More than 80 students took the benefit of this workshop in collaboration with Aerovania Pvt. Ltd.
