Mavericks Team Reinstalled at Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College; Infosys Expert Guides Students on Career Readiness
Nagpur: Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur—an autonomous institution affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU)—successfully organized the Reinstallation Ceremony of the Mavericks Team along with an inspiring industry expert lecture on “Effective Resume Writing & Goal Setting” under the aegis of the Training & Placement Cell.
The programme commenced with an opening address by Dr. Nitin Chore, who welcomed the dignitaries and participants and outlined the vision of the Mavericks Team in enhancing employability, fostering leadership qualities, and preparing students for professional life beyond the campus. The Mavericks Team, the official student committee of the Training & Placement Cell, was formally reinstated to continue its role in bridging the gap between students and the corporate world. Newly appointed team members were felicitated with badges by the dignitaries, symbolizing their responsibilities as ambassadors of professionalism and industry engagement.
The highlight of the event was the expert lecture by Mr. Parag Dhawan, Senior Associate Consultant, Infosys, Nagpur. He guided students on building impactful and ATS-optimized resumes, introduced the use of Git and GitHub for effective project management, and emphasized the significance of SMART goal setting for systematic career planning. His insightful and practical session motivated students to pursue their career goals with clarity and confidence.
On the occasion, Dr. P. L. Naktode, Principal, encouraged students to take initiative, actively participate, ask questions, and gain maximum exposure through such expert interactions. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Kunal Sawalakhe.
The event was organized under the constant support and guidance of Dr. Mohan Gaikwad-Patil, Chairman, GPG; Mr. Akash Gaikwad-Patil, Vice-Chairman, GPG; Dr. Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer, GPG; Dr. Suryakant Thorat, Campus Director, GPG; Dr. P.
