Nagpur, April 17, 2025 — The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology (TGPCET), Nagpur, organized a memorable farewell ceremony titled “Farewell 2K25” to honor and bid adieu to its final-year students. The grand event, held on campus, was attended by over 120 students, along with faculty and staff members.
The celebration commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony followed by a soulful prayer, setting a warm and respectful tone for the evening. The dignitaries present included Dr. P.L. Naktode, Principal; Dr. Amey Khedikar, Registrar; Dr. Radharaman Shaha, Dean Academics; Dr. Prashant Thakre, Controller of Examinations; and Prof. Ritesh Banpurkar, Dean IQAC. Each shared heartfelt messages and best wishes with the outgoing batch, commending their efforts and encouraging them to strive for excellence in their future pursuits.
The farewell event featured engaging cultural performances, fun activities, and emotional speeches by students, reflecting on their academic journey and fond memories at TGPCET. The juniors enthusiastically took charge of organizing the event, gaining valuable experience in teamwork and event management.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by a dinner that added a personal and celebratory touch. The event not only served as a heartfelt goodbye but also reinforced the strong bonds between juniors and seniors. Final-year students felt appreciated and motivated, expressing gratitude toward the college management, faculty, and staff for their unwavering support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
